About Like To Find

We believe finding love should start with real connections,

not endless swiping.

Like To Find was created by Rachel Allen and Samantha Poole, the founders of Solo Connects, after spending almost two years bringing thousands of single people together through real-life events.

Since launching Solo Connects, we've organised almost 200 events and welcomed more than 6,000 singles across Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire.

We've had thousands of conversations with people who were tired of modern dating. People told us they were exhausted by endless swiping, frustrated by ghosting and disappointed by conversations that never led anywhere.

Others loved our events but wished they had more opportunities to connect beyond one evening.

Some wished they'd had the confidence to speak to someone they noticed across the room. Others couldn't attend because of work, childcare or other commitments. Sometimes the right person simply wasn't at the same event.

Built by people who understand modern dating

Like To Find wasn't created by a tech company looking to build another dating app.

It was built by two women who have experienced the ups and downs of modern dating themselves and who have spent almost two years learning what single people really want.

We believe people aren't giving up on love—they're giving up on the way they're expected to find it.

That's why we've created something different.
